About Conductive Education
Conductive education is a specialised approach that helps babies and children build physical skills through guided movement, problem solving, and practice in everyday activities.
It is based around the idea of neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to form and strengthen new neural pathways through practice and experience. The more a movement or skill is practised in a meaningful way, the stronger those brain connections can become.
A bit about me
I’ve recently relocated from Hamilton to Tauranga and would love to connect with local families. I have many years of experience working with babies and children with developmental delays, physical disabilities, and complex needs, and supporting these children is truly my passion.
Conductive education is not yet widely available in Tauranga, so I am really looking forward to bringing it here. My goal is simple: to help each child do more, feel more confident, and enjoy life a little more fully.
